I found this a couple of days ago, it's a must view for anyone just getting started playing DF. The link takes you to a video download site, type in the scrambled letters and click the *Download button. An optional button will appear after 45 seconds to give you the option of downloading the video free. The file is 375 MB and it does take some time to load, so drop the window and wait for about 30 minutes and you will have the most informative tutorial video I have found.
